Druuna is an erotic science fiction and fantasy comic book character created by Italian cartoonist Paolo Eleuteri Serpieri. Most of Druuna's adventures revolve around a post-apocalyptic future, and the plot is often a vehicle for varied scenes of hardcore pornography and softcore sexual imagery. Druuna is frequently depicted as sparsely clothed or nude, and Serpieri's high quality renditions of her are often reproduced as poster prints.

Druuna starred in eight volumes of the Morbus Gravis ("Severe Disease") series between 1985 and 2003; these stories were featured prominently in Metal Hurlant and Heavy Metal magazines. Druuna has also been featured in Serpieri's numerous and popular sketchbooks, which have sold more than a million copies in twelve languages. Serpieri himself appears in many of the stories as the character Doc.

Wie over een newsbin downloader (NewsbinPro, Grabit enz.) beschikt kan dit nzb bestand gebruiken om het bijhorende bestand te downloaden, het bestand is niet door mij geplaatst, enkel gespot.

Dit is dus een test!

Omdat ik twijfel of ik nog verder op deze wijze doorga met mijn blog (vanwege de onzekerheid) en alternatieven zoek zou ik graag de discussie willen openen rond het alternatief van de binaries servers.
Zelf gebruik ik regelmatig Spotnet en NewsBin Pro (waar dacht je dat ik mijn materiaal anders vandaan haalde!).
Als er voldoende mensen zijn die de binaries gebruiken zouden we kunnen werken met nzb bestanden
die dan gebruikt kunnen worden (in vele gevallen automatisch) om een bestand met binaries
software (bv. NewsBin of andere) te downloaden. Het is wel zo dat sommige providers deze mogelijkheid blokkeren tenzij men van een betaalserver (Astraweb of dergelijke) gebruik maakt.
De nzb bestandjes zouden dan natuurlijk nog wel hier gepost worden.

Because I have doubts about continuing this way (because of the uncertainty of the hosts) and search for alternatives, I would like to open the discussion about the alternative of binaries servers.
I use regulary use Spotnet (where do you think I got my files!).
If enough people use the binaries I could work with nzb files which then can be used to download files with binaries software (eg NewsBin or other). It is true that some providers block this possibility unless a payserver is (Astraweb or similar) used.
The nzb files would still be posted here.

Keine Pflicht, aber ein nettes Bonbon.

We starten met de Avontuur Classics waarvan er tussen 1966 en 1970

163 nummers van verschenen.

Vele helden en genres passeerden in deze reeks de revue

maar hierbij meer over de bekendste reeksen binnen de Avontuur Classics.

Turok.

In de jaren 30 tot en met 60 was Dell Comics vooral bekend als uitgever van creaties van onder meer Disney, King Features, Warner Bros en licencies van andere media. Een van de meest duurzame van Dell's eigen creaties is Turok, Son of Stone. Turok verscheen voor het eerst in 1954 in Four Color Comics # 596 (verzamelreeks met oa. Woody Woodpecker). Vanaf 1956 kreeg Turok zijn eigen reeks.

Turok en zijn vriend Andar vallen in een grote vallei omgeven door onbeklimbare rotsen. In de vallei leven allerlei soorten dinosaurussen. Een kwart eeuw lang lezen we hoe ze ze uit de vallei proberen te komen.

Zoals de meeste van Dell's titels werd Turok gepubliceerd uit naam van Western Printing and Publishing, de eigenaar van Turok. In 1962 beeindigt Western zijn relatie met Dell en start Western een label: Gold Key Comics. De eerste Gold Key aflevering van Turok was # 30 (1962). De reeks eindigde met # 130 (1982)

Western Printing and Lithographing stapt in 1984 uit de comic industrie. De rechten van Turok (en ook van dr. Solar) worden verkocht aan Valliant.

Dr. Solar.

De eerste nieuwe eigen held van Gold Key Comics werd in oktober 1962 (cover datum) geintroduceerd.

Na te zijn gedesintegreerd bij een atoomongeluk slaagt de held, dr. Phillip Solar (een wetenschapper) erin om zichzelf weer te integreren. Aanvankelijk droeg hij tijdens zijn avonturen zijn gewone burgerkloffie, en gaf een groene gloed aan dat hij superkrachten had.

Pas vanaf # 5 droeg hij zijn superheldenkostuum. De reeks eindigde in 1969.

Magnus.

Geinsprireerd door Edgar Rice Burroughs creeerde Russ Manning een futuristische Tarzan: Magnus, Robot Fighter, 4000 AD. Opgevoed en getrained door robot 1A was Magnus in staat om met blote handen korte metten te maken met stalen schurken. In zijn hoofd had hij een ingebouwde zender waarmee hij robot-naar-robot signalen kon opvangen.

De eerste aflevering was in februari 1963.

In de piektijd van de superhelden ging het ook met Magnus goed, daarna zakte het af. Manning's laatste aflevering was # 21. In de jaren 70 verschenen nog sporadische afleveringen. In 1977, bij # 46, werd de handdoek in de ring geworpen.

Samson.

In 1964 start de serie Mighty Samson. In de jaren 60 de enige post-apocalyptische reeks van die tijd. Samson was een eenzame strijder in de jungle/stad N'Yark, gevuld met diverse radioactief gemuteerde monsters en mensen. Ook Samson was een mutant, groot en sterk dankzij radioaktiviteit.

De reeks liep tot 1969, ging even door in het midden van de jaren 70. De laatste aflevering was in 1982. In totaal besloeg de reeks 32 afleveringen.

De Robinsons in de ruimte.

In december 1962 begon een van de bekendste en langstlopende reeksen van Gold Key Comics: Space Family Robinson.

Er wordt beweerd dat Carl Barks het idee opperde om Swiss Family Robinson (Disney film) in de ruimte te laten afspelen.

Vader en wetenschapper Craig, wetenschappelijke mama June, zoon Tim, dochter Tam, hond Clancy en papagaai Yakker leven in het jaar 2002(!!) in ruimte station K-7 dat door een kosmische storm ver ver weg het heelal in is geslingerd. Gedurende de serie proberen ze thuis te komen.

In 1965 start de TV serie Lost in Space, stiekem gebaseerd op de comic, maar met andere namen voor de hoofdpersonen. Gold Key begon geen rechtzaak maar profiteerde vrolijk mee. Met # 15 (jan 1965) veranderden ze de naam van de reeks in "Space Family Robinson Lost in Space".

De comic overleefde de TV serie en liep tot # 36 (okt 1969). 4 jaar later keerden ze terug als "Space Family Robinson on Space Station One" om door te gaan tot nov 1978.

In totaal verschenen 59 afleveringen.

Hierbij dus een eerste lading

in 3 rar bestanden.

Avontuurclassics 1801, 03, 10, 11, 14, 15, 19, 20.

Avontuurclassics 1821, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30.

De volgende reeks waarmee ik hierbij start is

Korak, zoon van Tarzan.

De comicserie Korak verscheen in het Nederlands bij uitgeverij Classics van 1966 tot en met 1978 als Korak Classics (145 delen) en van 1973 tot en met 1977 ook als Korak Album (tien delen).

Tot de mensen die Korak tekenden behoren onder meer Russ Manning, Mike Arens, Warren Tufts, Doug Wildey, Nat Edson, Alberto Giolitti, Mike Royer, Sparky Moore en Dan Spiegle (voor Gold Key), Joe Kubert (covers) Frank Thorne, Murphy Anderson, Rudy Florese en James Sherman (voor DC Comics). De verhalen hierbij werden geschreven door onder andere Gaylord DuBois (voor Gold Key), Len Wein, Joe Kubert, Robert Kanigher en Tony Isabella (voor DC Comics).

Ook van deze reeks heb ik zeker niet alle nummers

maar hierbij alvast toch een eerste lading verdeeld over 2 rar's.

The Untold Legend of the Batman is a three-issue Batman comic book miniseries published by DC Comics in 1980.

It was written by Len Wein.

The first issue was penciled by John Byrne and inked by Jim Aparo.

The second and third issues were drawn entirely by Aparo.

José Luis García-López drew the covers for the entire series.

The primary plot elements of the story are retellings of the origins of several Batman characters.

It is the second miniseries published by DC Comics as well as the first starring Batman.

In 1989, as a marketing tool, each issue of the series was available in a special "MPI Audio Edition",

accompanied by an audio cassette containing a performance of the text of the issue, with musical cues.

Yoko Tsuno is a comic book series created by the Belgian writer Roger Leloup published by Dupuis and in Spirou since its debut in 1970.

Through twenty-five volumes, the series tell the adventures of Yoko Tsuno, a female electrical engineer of Japanese origin surrounded by her close friends,

Vic Video and Pol Pitron.

Their adventures bring them to, among other places, Belgium (Bruges), Germany, Scotland, Japan, Hong Kong, Indonesia and also into outer space.

The stories are heavily technology driven, with concepts like robot dragons (Le Dragon de Hong Kong), suspended animation (La Frontière de la vie),

time travel (La Spirale du temps and others), and even an alien species called the Vineans.

Despite the often exotic settings and science-fiction plot lines, the stories generally remain realistic on the personal level between the characters and friendship,

love and spirituality are some of the key themes of the series. The art is drawn in Ligne claire style. When depicting real-world settings,

Leloup aspires to be as true to reality as possible, with places like Burg Katz or Rothenburg ob der Tauber depicted with almost photographic skill.

Six books have been translated into English and published by Cinebook Ltd.

Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds is a 1978 album by Jeff Wayne. It is a retelling of H.G. Wells's novel The War of the Worlds.

The album was originally released in 1978, and has become as popular in its own right as the original novel. The CD version of the album was released in October 25, 1990.

To promote its release, an abridged version featuring "radio edits" was distributed to radio stations.

However, because the songs weren't written with radio in mind, special intros and endings had to be added.

This "air play" album turned out so well that CBS decided to release it commercially in 1981 as Highlights from Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds.

And now after the

Space Family Robinson / Lost in Space 1-59 (Gold Key 1962-76).

Space Family Robinson was an original science-fiction comic book series published by Gold Key Comics. It predates the Lost in Space TV series.

Space Family Robinson was published as a total of 59 issues, from 1962 to 1982.

The first issue was published in December 1962. With issue #15 (January, 1966), the "Lost in Space" title was added to the cover.

The title was cancelled with #36 (October, 1969). It would then be brought back in October, 1973, in part due to the popularity of Star Trek.

At this point, all issues between #37 and #44 had the tag "On Space Station One" added as well.

The title was again cancelled with #54 (December, 1977) (with #49 being a reprint of #38).

A further new story was published in Gold Key Champion #1 (1978). In 1981, the title was revived as a reprint title for issues #55-59 (1981-82) under the "Whitman Comics" line.

Space Force I & II.

(1984-85).

Space Force was a BBC Radio science fiction serial, broadcast in the mid-1980s.

Written by Charles Chilton, it was originally intended to be a sequel to his Journey into Space series (broadcast in the 1950s), using the cast who'd just made a one-off revival of that series (The Return From Mars); while this idea was dropped late in the day, the four characters are nevertheless essentially the same as those from the earlier series, albeit with different names.

The first series begins during the northern summer of 2010. Both series seem to initially mirror the first two Journey Into Space stories before branching off into quite different plots. Some of the dialogue in the first episode, "The Voice from Nowhere", references time becoming unstuck and that the year 2010 may now be in the future. This suggests the story was to originally follow the plot of "Operation Luna" more closely before it was changed, and time travel was removed.

A second series, known as Space Force 2, featured the same main characters, once again played by Barry Foster, Nigel Stock, Nicky Henson, and Tony Osoba.

Within both series, "Space Force" is the name of the team's spaceship, rather than the name of an organisation.

Each episode had an approximate run-time of 30 minutes.

James Follett was born in 1939. He was blinded in an accident as a child but his sight was restored in his early teens. After a period spent filming sharks, hunting for underwater treasure and writing for the Ministry of Defense, he became a full time writer in 1976.

Since then he has written 25 novels, among them the successful thriller MIRAGE, and THE TIPTOE BOYS, filmed as WHO DARES WINS; over 50 radio scripts, and a number of TV scripts including episodes of BLAKE'S 7.

He was the creator of BBC Radio 4's widely acclaimed Sci-Fi serial EARTHSEARCH, and has recentley completed his SILENT VULCAN trilogy and his 'Eagles' trilogy.

Rock & Roll was still in its infancy with Roses Are Red by Bobby Vinton the number one song,

followed by Ray Charles with I Can't Stop Loving You and the Twist by Chubby Checker.

Records & Album were available at the Fair, but not a huge variety.

Elvis Presley’s album,“It Happened at the World’s Fair” was not released until April of 1963.

Ginny Simms recorded her album at Ocean Shores and it was sold at the fair along with a few others.

Two of the Alan Stevens' audio cassettes.

Alan Stevens, later of Magic Bullet Productions produced three unofficial audio cassettes between 1991 and 1998.

In 1996, Stevens released The Mark of Kane, featuring two interlinked stories; War Crimes follows Travis' treachery against the Terran Federation, and his encounter with Kane and Royce, a pair of bounty hunters. The second story, Friendly Fire, is set on Gauda Prime. Gareth Thomas, as Blake, is posing as a bounty hunter and teams up with colleague Tando to lead fellow bounty hunter Kane into a trap.

The Logic of Empire, released in 1998, features Jacqueline Pearce and Paul Darrow in their original roles and a cameo appearance from Gareth Thomas. Avon has been recruited by a rebel group led by Lydon for a heist, but all is not as it seems.

de boekjes van de AO reeks (sinds 1936) maar jaren zijn ondertussen voorbij gegaan en ik wist niet eens dat ze nog steeds bestaan.

Je kan ze nu zelfs digitaal downloaden via http://www.actueleonderwerpen.nl ,

de hedendaagse AO website. Leuk , maar ik heb ook een duidelijke kritiek,

zo zijn de losse nummers zowel gedrukt of digitaal toch wel bijzonder duur voor

een uitgave gericht op scholieren en studenten.

Meer dan 5 euro per boekje van nauwelijks 20 blz.

Dit doet natuurlijk niets af van de meestal zeer goede inhoud.

Zelf vond ik onlangs enkele oudere nummers bij een bibliotheek opruiming.

De volgens mij 3 leukste heb ik voor jullie ingescand.

Ik kan ze hier niet allemaal aanbieden maar de collectie groeit voordurend aan.

Eiegnlijk wist ik van het bestaan van deze hoorspelen niets af en ja ze zijn in het Frans maar ik wil ze jullie zeker niet onthouden.

Altijd leuk voor wie het Frans een beetje machtig is en de moeite wil doen om op deze leuke

manier zijn Frans een beetje bij te schaven.

We beginnen met 2 Blake & Mortimer verhalen,

La marque jaune en Le Mystere de la grande pyramide.

Of er nog meer verhalen van Blake & Mortimer op deze manier uitgebracht zijn weet ik niet

maar ze zouden alvast van harte welkom zijn.

Dit Nederlandstalige hoorspel naar een verhaal van Isaac Asimov uit 1966 speelt zich af in 1995. Om de briljante professor Benes te redden worden vijf specialisten met een onderzeeër atomisch ingekrompen tot een omvang van een enkele bacterie en door middel van een injectienaald in de bloedbaan van de patiënt gebracht.
Er wacht hun een woest landschap vol onverwachte verschrikkingen: het inwendige van het menselijk lichaam. Het team heeft zestig minuten om de bloedstolsel in de hersenen te vernietigen; wordt deze tijdslimiet overschreden, dan zal alles weer zijn oorspronkelijke afmetingen aannemen en de geleerde zal uiteen worden gereten.
De expeditie wordt bemoeilijkt doordat één van de specialisten een verrader is, met de opdracht de redding van de professor Benes te saboteren.
